Goals:

1. Identify priorities for action at the city, state, and federal level based on which could have the greatest impact to lower emissions and speed the transition to renewable energy.

2. Have each member of the working group commit to making contact with their elected representative(s) at the city, state, and federal levels at least once per quarter. Responses received will be shared with the group and guide further actions. 

3. Identify effective ways to communicate with the whole chapter membership to promote members making a similar commitment to making regular contact with their elected representatives. This might be via announcements at monthly meetings, emails, posts on Discord, and/or posts on the chapter website.  Provide updates on legislation to be supported or opposed, along with talking points.
